ardour-data software package provides digital audio workstation (data), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ardour-data
ardour-data is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ardour-data package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ardour-data *
You will get with ardour-data package name, version, architecture and description in a table
